World Coffee Leaders Forum Opens

World Coffee Leaders Forum opens in the Korea, and offer the chance to learn coffee information and coffee crafts during the demonstrations. There are more than 60 coffee experts from the United States, France, India, Ethiopia, Taiwan and Macao, as well as nearly 200 Audience, to attend this forum.

During World Coffee Leaders Forum, some topics are well discussed:
1. Protect the coffee tree, especially the Specialty Coffee Tree:
Due to frequent droughts, reduced forest area and the spread of deadly pests, most of the world's wild coffee species are likely to become extinct in the coming decades. The discovery triggered the alarm for the current coffee industry. The two main varieties of the coffee industry are Arabica Coffee and Canephora Coffee. Arabica is susceptible to high temperatures, while Robusta is susceptible to drought. However, among the 124 wild coffees, the genetic diversity of some wild coffee can help breeders enhance the viability of commercial coffee varieties and make them better able to cope with climate change.

2. Coffee Trade World Coffee Leaders Forum
During the World Coffee Leaders Forum, some Specialty Coffee are auctioned, including the Geisha coffee, Blue mountain coffee, and Colombian coffee.
