The International Coffee Organization is an intergovernmental organization established in 1963 in London. It consists of coffee importing and exporting countries. The International Coffee Organization is responsible for implementing the International Coffee Convention and is committed to improving the state of the world's coffee industry through international cooperation.

The International Coffee Organization has made a special contributiwon to the orld coffee industry through:

(1) International Coffee Organization Meeting: Regularly organize high-level meetings so that government representatives can exchange views on coffee issues, coordinate policies, and cooperate.

(2) Launch a coffee development project aimed at improving product quality and marketing methods and eliminating pests and diseases (to date, the total investment of the project reached US$31 million, funded by Common Fund For Commodities).

(3) Creative coffee promotion activities in two emerging markets in China and Russia.

(4) International coffee organization data: Establish a global coffee date and research network to enable member countries to enjoy the results of research projects around the world.

(5) International coffee organization report: Provide market reports, economic models, in-depth economic research, and coffee archives in more than 20 countries.

(6) International coffee organization statistics: Ensure the transparency of the coffee market through public statistics and process 130,000 pieces of data per year.

(7) Establish a strong private economic advisory committee to deal with matters such as food safety and work closely with the private economy.

(8) Promote the sustainable development of the coffee industry and establish environmental standards through research and expert discussions.

(9) Work closely with organizations such as UNEP, CABIBIOSCIENCE, FAO, and ITC/WTO/UNCTAD.

(10) Through the cooperation with Dow Jones to develop the Internet project ICOFFEE, establish a coffee service network to release the latest information about coffee.

(11) International coffee organization consumption: Yearly Issue the ico coffee consumption by country, and help the member countries know the coffee consumption tendency.

In 2019, International Coffee Organization will hold a Global Leaders Forum in UK, to talk the coffee tendency
