The dominant position of tea in the world has never diminished and its consumption reached a new peak in 2016, and Germany also produced about 19,000 tons of consumption.

They showed a unique tea-drinking culture to the people of the world.

Germans like to drink scented tea, and Germany also produces scented tea. But the interesting thing is that their so-called scented tea is very different from the scented tea in our mouth. Usually, the scented tea we are talking about is green tea, black tea or oolong tea as the green tea, with fresh flowers, such as jasmine, roses and other raw materials, made by kiln process.

The German scented tea is made with various petals and dried fruits such as apple or hawthorn, so it is said that it is scented tea, but it is actually "with flowers without tea". Germans also like to add some rock sugar when drinking scented tea, which can cover some of the astringency brought by the petals.

The situation of Germans drinking tea today can be described as earth-shaking. According to the statistics of the World Tea Commission in 2011, the per capita consumption of tea in Germany has surpassed that of China, ranking 7th in the world. But 50 years ago, there were still few tea shops in Germany. Now, almost all supermarkets, food stores and cafes have tea sales.
