In 2018 Elon Musk frequently came to Shanghai for Investigation and business talks for Super Factory in China. And in January,2019,it announced the starting of new Tesla Factory -- Shanghai Gigafactory,which can manufacture 500,000 units yearly.According the the plan, Model 3 and future Model Y will be manufactured in Shanghai Gigafactory,as well as the production of some batteries.
In less than 10 months, Tesla Chinese super factory realized the process from scratch and here is the layout: The appearance of the first phase of the Tesla plant is rectangular, and the plant is divided into four major workshops. Stamping, welding, painting, and final assembly will be completed in one phase of the factory. Tightly dressed and standardized workers are stepping up construction. Some workers are completing the debugging of the equipment, and others are cleaning up the site.
