What kind of tea and coffee products in Turkey:
1. Kurdish coffee
Kurdish coffee or menengiç coffee, meaning pistachio coffee or terebinth coffee, is a traditional hot beverage in Kurdish and Turkish cuisine. It is made of ground roasted terebinth fruits as the main ingredient, and is caffeine-free.It is particularly popular in parts of southeastern Anatolia.

2. Rize tea:
Rize tea or Rize çayı is the black tea used for Turkish tea. Produced in Rize Province of Turkey which has a mild climate with high precipitation and fertile soil, when brewed it is mahogany in color.

In addition to being consumed at home, it is served in Turkish cafés by a çaycı, in small, narrow-waisted glasses. It can be taken strong or weak, and is traditionally served with beet sugar crystals or a couple of sugar lumps.

3. Salep powder:
Salep, also spelled sahlep or sahlab, is a flour made from the tubers of the orchid genus Orchis (including species Orchis mascula and Orchis militaris). These tubers contain a nutritious, starchy polysaccharide called glucomannan. Salep flour is consumed in beverages and desserts, especially in the cuisines of the former Ottoman Empire, notably in the Levant where it is a traditional winter beverage. An increase in consumption is causing local extinctions of orchids in parts of Turkey and Iran.

4. Suutei tsai tea: Suutei tsai is a traditional Mongolian beverage. The drink is also known as süütei tsai, tsutai tsai, or Mongolian salty tea.

5. Sharbat tea
Sharbat is an Iranian drink also popular in Turkey, South Asia, Caucasus and the Balkans. It is prepared from fruits or flower petals. It is a sweet cordial, and usually served chilled. It can be served in concentrated form and eaten with a spoon or diluted with water to create the drink.

6. Turkish herbal teas:
In Turkey, herbal teas are generally used as herbal medication. Many of the herbal medical treatments have not been proven by science but have existed in folk medicine. In Turkey, herbal teas destined for the treatment of most ailments can be found in local herbal shops, called aktar.

Apple tea:
Apple tea (Elma Çayı) has been used in Turkey for treatment of digestive problems, balancing blood sugar, boosting the immune system, has expectorant properties for improving a cough, and for improving eye health.

Yarrow tea:
Yarrow tea has been medicinally used in Turkey as an anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial treatment.Modern medical research studies have been conducted on Yarrow tea to determine the medical benefits. In a 2014 study (Demirel, et al.) concluded yarrow (specifically species Achillea biebersteinii Afan.) to be a, "promising alternative for the treatment of endometriosis".

7. Sage teas:
Sage tea (Turkish: Ada Çayı; literally 'island tea') is popular in the Mediterranean coastal region. Whereas in English sage usually refers to the species Salvia officinalis, throughout Turkey various species of the plant genera Salvia, Sideritis, and very rarely Stachys are usually known and consumed as "sage tea". Sideritis (also known as Ironwort, or Mountain tea; Turkish: Dağ Çaycı) is used medicinally and grows at high elevations. Sideritis is often served with honey, lemon, or cinnamon.

Black Turkish tea is still the drink of choice for Turks.
